Based in Winnipeg, the Director, Sales & Marketing will lead and manage company sales and marketing strategies to achieve targeted sales growth. Working closely with the President and executive team, this individual will evaluate all aspects of “customer experience” with the brand to identify opportunities for enhancement that will lead to margin improvement, as well as measure the success of sales programs, and implement changes to ensure sound sales principles, guidelines, and expectations are in place. Responsibilities will include leading and developing sales and customer service teams, developing innovative programs to promote the company brand in target markets, overseeing strategic pricing to maximize company margin performance, creating advertising and promotion plans, and establishing metrics to track and analyze sales & marketing activities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strategic approach to identifying markets, developing sales pipelines, penetrating new accounts and driving the sales process. A bottom-line-oriented, budget conscious, and measurement driving approach is essential. A post-secondary business degree along with a minimum 10 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing are strongly preferred.
